With the Geocache Navigator application on your GPS-enabled cell phone, you can enjoy geocaching adventures without having to use a standalone GPS unit, cables or cache data printouts.
Geocache Navigator is now available for sale on Nokia’s OVI store (http://store.ovi.com) for a one-time fee of €30 and is supported on a range of Nokia phones (see below). Note: a data plan is recommended and carrier charges for data usage may apply.

Upgrade Overview | How to Buy
The ad supported version of Geocache Navigator, that was previously available for free on three Nokia handsets (N95, 6110, and N82), is being discontinued effective September 12, 2009. The application will no longer function after the September 12, 2009 date. Trimble has created an upgraded version of Geocache Navigator that consumers can purchase for €15 (plus VAT or other applicable taxes) if they desire to continue using Geocache Navigator with their Nokia handset. The purchase is a one-time fee good for the life of the handset. The upgrade includes the following updates:
- Geocaches can be stored on the Nokia handset to allow Geocache Navigator use when outside of the operator's network. This also allows the use of WiFi connections to pre-load caches into the handset to lower data charges.
- Mapping content has been improved to include topographic maps of many areas.
- More Nokia handsets are officially supported including: 6110 Navigator, E71, E90, N82, N95, N96, N97 (w/touch), E75, E66, N79, N85, 5800 (w/touch), N78, 6220 Classic, and the N82
- Ads will not appear in the application.
We pride ourselves in providing great products to our customers and we continuously invest to make our products better. At times we can make these upgrades available for free. Other times upgrades will require an additional purchase. Regardless of whether you choose to upgrade your Geocache Navigator application in the future when upgrades become available, the version now offered for €15 (plus VAT or other applicable taxes) will continue to operate.

How to buy the upgrade
There are two ways to get the upgrade from the free ad supported version:
- From your Nokia phone: please follow the instructions displayed when the free ad supported version of Geocache Navigator is run on your phone
- From your PC: click here to buy. Notes:
• you must enter your Nokia phone number in the Phone Number field during the checkout
• after paying the upgrade fee, point your Nokia phone browser to http://getgn.com/paypal and download your version of Geocache Navigator to the phone; then activate it with exactly the same phone number as what you entered during the checkout (note: if you do this before paying, you will not be able to activate the upgrade on your phone)
