Blackberry Curve 8350i Menu button Issue
Just purchased my Blackberry Curve 8350i and downloaded the Geocache Navigator program.  It is great.  I love it......except I am having an issue with any time I have to push the menu button to do anything.  When I push it I do not see anything on my screen.  To see the menu options I have to push the green "phone" button and then the back key, then the menu screen will pop up just for a second.  I can scroll down on the menu options but I have to push the same sequence of keys to see what I am selecting.  Anybody able to help with this???  I have called Trimble about this and the gentelman that I spoke with was not able to rectify this.  Come to find out, this phone is not a supported phone for this application eventhough Handmark sold it to me under this impression.  So, if you can help that would be fantastic.

I don't see the 8350i listed as being a Blackberry compatible phone.  Does anyone know if Trimble has plans of making the software compatible in the near future?  How is Trimble with keeping up with emerging technologies?

Twinmakers: For some reason we have a bug on the 8350i where something crashes every time the user tries to open a menu.  Unfortunatly I don't have a good idea of when we are going to fix that issue.  Handmark should not have that as a supported device. We will look into that and get our supported device list corrected. 

If you contact support, they can help you get a refund through handmark, and should also be able to add you to a list of people to contact when we do fix the menu issue.  Sorry for the trouble.

Thank you for your info regarding my issue.  I enjoy using the product as is and hope the issue is resolved at some time.  At this point I am not looking for a refund for a minor nuisance.  I will however contact the support staff and get my name on the list for when the issue is taken care of.  Again, thank you for your time.

Hi Twinmakers...

So can you go into a little more detail about how the software works on your 8350i?  I am considering purchasing the software regardless of the issues it has.  I also have the 8350i.  If it is functional I would consider it.
