Blackberry & AT&T
I am extremely anxious to upgrade devices such that I can utilize GeocacheNavigator. However, after reading most of the forum threads I am more confused now than ever.  Is there someone with experience than can guide me in the right direction. In addition to being GPS enabled the device I select must also be capable of performing as a "data modem". Looks like the Curve and 8800 series will both work. I have been extremely disappointed with the ability to contact Trimble for assistance.

Re: Blackberry & AT&T
Currently we support the Blackberry 8110, 8130, 8310, 8800, 8820 and 8830 which should be capable of performing as a "data modem". I would suggest contacting your local carrier to go over the specifications needed so they can direct you towards the proper device needed.

Provided is a link to the free 30 day trial of the software for the supported Blackberry's: www.trimbleoutdoors.com/rim

Please do not hesitate to contact support with any further questions or concerns: support@trimbleoutdoors.com

Thank you.

Re: Blackberry & AT&T

Thank you very much for the info. I assume that using AT&T as the carrier is not a problem.

Re: Blackberry & AT&T
No, not a problem! I personally use the Blackberry 8820 and strongly considering switching to the 8310 to take advantage of the camera.

Re: Blackberry & AT&T
I have ordered my Blackberry and expect delivery tomorrow.  Where can I purchase the current version of GeocacheNavigator? I don't care to start with the free trial period. It appears that at Handmark the most recent version that can be purchased is 1.5.3.
