Unfortunately my software became disabled yesterday - mid caching - although I paid on 9 June and downloaded the new version.  When I hit retry I get asked for a pin.  I don't know what the pin is unfortunately.  This happened to my colleague too and it took handmark 4 days to respond to his request.

The PIN is any four digit numerical number you choose. If you cannot remember the PIN you had used for the 30 day trial you can simply use another number to activate the software. When you create a new PIN a new phone ID will automatically be generated so you will need to relink your device with your geocahcing.com account. You can have mulitple phone ID's assoicated with one geocaching.com account.

Thanks for gettng back to me Rebecca, becuase as was to be expected, I have not heard from Handmark.

Unfortunately, the solution which I finally figured out through trial and error is more complicated than the one you offered.
Since I live in Germany, I have a number starting with 0049 etc.
I figured out that if I leave the 0049 off the number, it works.  No clue why, or how this could possibly relate to the message of an expired trial, but it worked.  I just tried every possible combination of phone numbers and prefixes and it finally accepted this version.

I have not made any changes to my account, or logged into handmark, so there is no reason that I should have received the message that the trial has ended, or that I was able to solve it by changing the phone number.  i wonder how long it will work??

Can you please forward me the Blackberry number you had used to activate the software. I will gladly verify your Handmark subscription.

I am having similar problems to the other people in this thread.  I purchased a year's subscription after using 2.0.5 for the free trial.  I installed the 1.x version and found it didn't work (I'm on Rogers), so I re-installed the 2.0.5 version.  Now, I can't activate it and I don't recall what my PIN was.  I've emailed the relevant information to support@geocachenavigator.com but not had any reply.  Help, please!
