Version 2.0.5 was recently released through Trimble Outdoors. The software is not automatically released through Handmark. Handmark must certify the software themselves and then they push the update to customers so a delay is experienced.
To update the software before Handmark has it available simply delete the current application and reinstall the software. Provided is a link to register for the updated software: www.trimbleoutdoors.com/rim. Even though you are downloading the trial your subscription end date through Handmark will remain the same.
If you cannot remember the original four digit PIN number you had used when activating the current software version you can create a new PIN number. When creating a new PIN you will need to re-link the device to your geocaching.com account. A new phone ID will also be generated. You can have multiple devices associated with one geocaching.com account.

I apologize, it appears you had not received any of my previous emails. Can you please forward me your Blackberry phone number with area code and I will gladly contact Handmark to confirm your subscription. I am not exactly sure what you are referring to when stating "registration". The current version available is 2.0.5. You are able to update the software at any time - this will not effect your subscription end date through Handmark.

Could Handmark's site and customer support possibly be any worse? What's the percentage of users who are actually able to either get the latest version of your software and/or purchase a subscription without some kind of error. Personally, after paying my money and downloading the software I was greeted with the "Your susbscription with Handmark appears to be expired. If you need any help please contact support at 1-800-773-5996"
Of course, Handmark customer support works "banker's hours" and don't call you back or resolve your problem.
Another case of a quality software product ruined by piss-poor customer support.

Once you recieve the error message can you please press your menu key and select Retry. This error message can occur because you may not have selected to download the software provided through the Handmark order confirmation and the Blackberry device is still reading the software as the 30 day trial. Once you select Retry it will validate your subscription through Handmark.
