Re: External GPS-Receiver Problems
Thanks a lot, chef, for your replies! Thread at Nokia Forum is very interesstant.

I knew Aftrack  already, but i'm not able to import gpx files into AFtrack.

I didn't know MGMMaps before. I'll test it...  I'm crossing those of my appendages that are able to be crossed... :-)

Re: External GPS-Receiver Problems
GeocacheNavigator still works fine. Somehow MGmaps did the trick.
@ Campelo
Are you sure that import of gpx files doesn't work? On the website it says that it's able to do that. The Importfunction is a bit hidden - it's in the waypoint group menu but I just tried it with .loc files.

Re: External GPS-Receiver Problems

I wrote in another post following:

"I bought a Holux M-241 bluetooth GPS and tried to connect it to Geocaching Navigator in my Nokia N73.
I can´t find a menu where I can select which bluetooth GPS I want to use.
The GeocachingNavigator only connects to a BlueGPS I borrowed, not to my Holux M-241.

How do I tell GeocachingNavigator to connect to my Holux M-241?"

I was asked to read this post.
I also have mgmaps installed on my N73 and my Holux M-241 (mtk chip) works with Mgmaps but not with GeocachingNavigator.

Must I start the devices in some special order?
How do I tell GeocachingNavigator to connect to my Holux M-241?"

Re: External GPS-Receiver Problems
Pairing a device is pretty simple. However, you will need to read the instructions from your GPS manufacturer and consult your phone’s user guide for complete details. The basic steps for using a Bluetooth device are:

1. Fully charge your GPS receiver and switch it on.

2. Position GPS receiver for optimum satellite reception (clear view of the sky).

3. Set up a Bluetooth connection between your device and the GPS receiver.

4. Select the external GPS receiver when the application opens. The GPS connection is then established.

Your right about the cache descriptions getting cut off... We will be releasing a fix for that shortly.

When will there be a fix available for this issue?
