'Choose access point' re-appearing :-(
On my E65 the dialog 'Choose access point' with list of access points (GPRS, Wifi etc.) is re-appearing for each operation - find caches, view log... For other Symbian applications it is fine, I choose the AP only once. Any suggestion? It is a bit annoying.

You have to set a default access point in the Tools menu (Tools>App. mgr. then Options for Geocache  Navigator, Open, Default Access Point).  I'm guessing you won't want to do this with a WiFi connection since you won't have access to this while out and about.  Unfortunately, Java applications on the S60 platform aren't able to keep a set connection open during the same session.

Also, I came across a new application that fixes the Nokia "Select A Netowork" nag:

New App Fixes Nokia Select A Network Nag

The iPhone’s ability to switch seamlessly between Wi-Fi networks and AT&T’s EDGE network with minimal mucking around by the user still remains unmatched. If you’re using one of Nokia’s increasing number of Wi-Fi enabled phones, the experience is the opposite: painful. Unless you permanently set a preference in each individual application, you’re annoyingly prompted to select a network whenever a program tries to access the Internet.

Psiloc ConnectNokia is still grappling with this problem. The good news is that there’s a fix: Psiloc Connect. Psiloc Connect works by creating a new Access Point on your S60 device. By pointing any application to the Psiloc AP, you can set your preferences so Psiloc will attempt to connect through Wi-Fi, then will try your cellular data connection next, whether it be 3G, EDGE or GPRS. In other words, with Psiloc, you can let the phone choose the fastest data network available. It will set you back about $16, which isn’t cheap — but I think it’s worth owning.

Thank you for your suggestion. In Tools > App. mgr. > Geocache Navigator > Options, I can see only: View details, Send, Remove, View log, Send log, Suite settings, Settings, Help, Exit. Can you help me where I could find the Default Access Point setting? I also cannot clearly understand what is meant by "Java applications on the S60 platform aren't able to keep a set connection open during the same session".

Go into app manager.
Find the geocache program and open it.
You can set the access point and other permissions

you have to click on the entry and choose "open"
i never heared of this function too, but it works. now it NEVER asks me the same stupid questions ;)
