Last week I changed my phone to a Samsung i8910 HD, which uses also Symbian S60 but the 5th Edt (the same as the Nokia N97 ans 5800 Xpress Music). Today I installed GCN 2.x on my Samsung and it runs! Sure the touchscreen isn't supported, but thats not the problem as Samsung features onscreen navigationkeys in the lower half for programs not supporting touchscreen. So, i can use the program but it seems that it won't connect to my internal GPS device. Any other S60 3rd programs are working fine instead of GCN :( Now, two questions before buying the upgrade: 1) Is there anything I can do? The other GPS-programs get an fix within seconds, but not the GCN :( 2) Is there a version of GCN planned supporting touchscreen? Think this will be very interesting as there will be more and more Nokia phones with touchscreen. Ok, there is "Geocaching Live" which runs great on my phone. But it tries my battery and is NOT connected to gc.com Therefor I want to use and buy GCN. Please help me. When installed on N97 or 5800 the application supports full touch functionality. However those are the only touch phones that we currently support. Unfortunately, since we do not support the Samsung i8910 currently, we will not be able to troubleshoot why the GPS is not working on it. To request a refund you can send an email to support@trimbleoutdoors.com with all the details.
