Search Forum Home   Discussions  General - Troubleshooting  Nothing on Noki...  Nothing on Nokia after upgrade    8/15/2009 5:16:58 PM Tankmiller 6 posts Nothing on Nokia after upgrade I've been using Navigator on my nokia 6120e with bluetooth GPS for a while and yesterday got a screen saying it would not work after 12th September. So I decided to pay for the upgrade 15 euro's via paypal. The program downloaded to my phone and installed, or so i thought. I then tried to use the program but it will not fire up at all. I've looked at my phone memory and there's no sign of the program anywhere apart from the logo in my start program secton. I've tried emailing Support and the 5 or 6 times i've tried to send the email its bounced back!! I've just downloaded it again and exactly the same thing...just sits there. I've spoken to support, just waiting to hear a response. I'll do whatever we can to help you out. I went through the same process on my n95, and it worked great.  When all was said and done I had a nice new version of the application, with no troubles.  Here are the specifics that I did: 1. When I downloaded the first version, I downloaded it to me device, not my sd card.  2. When I downloaded the upgrade, I did the same.  3. I didn't uninstall the old version, I just installed right over it.  4. It asked if I wanted to preserve my old data, and I said that I did, (but it didn't seem to preserve it anyway) 5. When I launch everything works just fine. Did you guys do anything different than the above?  If so, let me know what was different and I can uninstall and try exactly the steps you guys went through and see if I can get my app to break. Also, if you have paid for the application, and you want to completely remove it and try to reinstall the new version, you can download it again by pointing your phone's web browser to: http://getgn.com/PayPal/ Please update us here and We'll keep with you guys until we get you fixed, or in the worst case scenario: get you a refund.
