I can then initialise using WIFI and its ok. But trying to download on wap away from WIFI just gives the usual response error GN1006? Looks like another visit to Vodafone  9/22/2008 9:32:46 AM funkybro 1 posts Re: connecting with illimythics SFR Vodafone live Hi I have seen this problem too.  In fact, it is a problem with the Vodafone "Contract WAP" access point (this manifests itself in a variety of ways, I develop mobile phone software for a living, so am well aware of the problem!). You can overcome this problem by going to the Vodafone website and requesting GPRS/Internet settings for your phone.  You will be sent settings by SMS; this will introduce an access point called "VfISP".  When Geocache Navigator attempts to connect to the network, choose this access point (on my N78 it lives in the "Uncategorized" folder), and all should be well!
